  • Job Title: Band 6 RMN, Crisis Response Team

  • Pay Rates: Earn up to £69.39* per hour 

  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00-18:00

We currently have immediate start roles available for paediatric nurses and Registered Sick Children's Nurses (RSCN), offering competitive pay and the flexibility of both NHS and agency work.  

💙 Your Role and Responsibilities as a RMN Nurse 

  • Fast and responsive assessment of individuals' needs for mental health services.  

  • Perform comprehensive Mental Health Assessments including risk assessments.  

  • Efficient in referring to other clinicians and services as needed.  

  • Act as a gatekeeper as per Operating Procedures.  

  • Provide managerial support and lead the team in the absence of the Team Manager.  

  • Deliver rapid, intensive interventions to meet the acute needs of those experiencing mental health crises.  

  • Develop close relationships and provide expert advice on mental health to other services and carers.  

  • Engage in local and national strategies to enhance service quality.  

  • Supervise and mentor junior staff, fostering professional growth.  

✔ Qualifications and Experience Required 

  • Degree or equivalent in Mental Health Nursing.  

  • Proven experience as a Registered Mental Health Nurse.  

  • Valid registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC)  

  • Valid DBS - registered on the Update Service
