🎉 What We're Looking For

Degree or equivalent qualification in Mental Health Nursing
Proven experience as a Registered Mental Health Nurse
Clinical experience in paediatric nursing
Valid Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) registration
Up-to-date DBS check

👏 Children and Young People Mental Health Services Nurse Responsibilities:

Conduct fast and accurate assessments to meet individual needs
Perform comprehensive mental health assessments, including risk assessments
Efficiently refer patients to other clinicians and services
Act as a gatekeeper according to operating procedures
Provide leadership and support to the team in the team manager's absence
Deliver rapid interventions for those experiencing mental health crises
Build strong relationships and offer expert advice
Participate in local and national initiatives to improve service quality
Supervise and mentor junior staff
