What You'll Do: 

  • Conduct fast, accurate assessments to identify individual needs. 

  • Perform comprehensive mental health and risk assessments. 

  • Efficiently refer patients to other specialists as needed. 

  • Provide expert advice and support to other services and caregivers. 

  • Lead and manage the team in the absence of the Team Manager. 

  • Deliver effective interventions during mental health crises. 

  • Supervise and mentor junior staff, helping them grow professionally. 

  • Engage in efforts to continually improve service quality. 

Requirements: 

  • Degree or equivalent qualification in Mental Health Nursing. 

  • Proven experience as a Registered Mental Health Nurse. 

  • Clinical experience in paediatric nursing. 

  • Valid registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC). 

  • Current Disclosure & Barring Services (DBS) check (Update Service encouraged).
