  • Job Title: Band 6 RMN / RSCN, Crisis Response Team, Children and Young People Mental Health Services 

  • Vacancy type: Immediate start agency vacancies, with ongoing NHS jobs 

  • Pay Rates: Up to £69.39* per hour (see for yourself, we offer more than band 6 NHS pay)

What you'll do: 

  • Be the first point of contact, conducting quick and thorough assessments for those needing mental health support. 

  • Lead comprehensive assessments, including risk evaluation. 

  • Seamlessly refer individuals to specialists and additional resources. 

  • Act as a gatekeeper according to established procedures. 

  • Provide support and leadership to your team in the Team Manager's absence. 

  • Deliver effective interventions to address immediate crisis needs. 

  • Build strong relationships and offer expert advice to other services and carers. 

  • Contribute to local and national initiatives to improve service delivery. 

  • Guide and mentor junior staff, helping them reach their full potential. 

What you bring: 

  • A degree or equivalent qualification in Mental Health Nursing. 

  • Proven experience as an RMN with references. 

  • Valid registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC). 

  • Up-to-date DBS check and Right to Work in the UK (no visa sponsorship offered).
